About Me

I used to be a travel presenter for ‘Lonely Planet’ – the Discovery travel series, as well as a whole host of other TV programmes for the BBC and Channel 4. When I had my baby, I continued to travel, but this time with different needs. That’s why I set up the villa – to create a comfortable holiday place for people who were not just travelling independently, but travelling with dependents ! But of course, the villa is a lovely place for anyone wanting a gorgeous relaxing holiday in Palolem, away from the beach and the beach hut scene.

My job is to help you to ‘fast-track’ your holiday experience, so rather than it taking two weeks to finally find the best restaurants, best beach spot and best taxi service, I can help you get there a lot quicker with my experience, expertise and local contacts. I am happy to organise anything you want on your behalf. All it takes is a phone-call (or two !). Just let me know your requests, and I will do my best to rustle up the results !

I also offer a mobile phone service for my guests where you can rent a pre-programmed Indian mobile phone from me, with all the restaurants, rickshaw and emergency numbers (including mine) in the address book, to make your stay at the Villa that much more effortless ! It also saves a fortune on making and receiving calls from the UK.

The Villa is fully staffed with two housekeepers who will clean your room everyday and change all sheets and towels once a week. There is also a caretaker/night watchman to ensure the security of the Villa, although generally it is a very safe place to be.

All in all, the Villa is a lovely, friendly place to stay, with all the luxuries and benefits of a Five-Star hotel attached. And in true Indian style, I treat my guests like family, so you needn’t worry about a thing ! Just kick back and enjoy all that Goa has to offer.
